The 2012 Aftermarket Industry Awards were held on Saturday 28th April at the Logan Campbell Centre. A night of celebration, comedy and live music, put together by 4 and Rotary promotions and Parkside Media to recognise those that support the industry and make it what it is.

There were a large number of categories, with a quantity of nominees in each category.  Smits Group had been nominated for three awards in the following categories; Best Support of the Import Industry by a Company, Best Support of the V8 Industry by a Company and Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year.  Given the calibre of the nominees across these Categories, Smits Group is thrilled to have won the award for Best Support of the V8 Industry by a Company.

Smits Group has been in the automotive industry for over 35 years and strongly supports both the industry and the car hobby through our companies and brands.  It’s the industry that we love.  All of our products and brands fit within this industry and it’s only right to be supportive of the companies and enthusiasts who make the scene what it is, supporting car clubs, individuals in the drift, circuit or drag racing scenes, being a major sponsor of events such as the Beach Hop, 4 and Rotary Nationals, Jamboree, Ardmore Showdown, the Speed Show, Classic Car weekend – these are all places where our products and technical team feel at home.
