Meguiar’s Ultimate Shine Competition Date: 30/09/11

Once again, Meguiar’s is on the hunt for New Zealand’s Ultimate Shine! Our annual competition is kicking off on Friday 30 September 2011, so get your Ultimate Shine on with Meguiar’s and show New Zealand how it’s done.

Steve and Donna Anniss took out the competition last year with their stunning 1966 Chevelle Malibu, a beautiful example of how Meguiar’s  can really create a mirror like shine and bring out the vibrancy and depth in their House of Kolor finish. Will the next winner be you?

This year the Ultimate Shine overall winner will take home $1000 cash, and a  huge Meguiar’s product pack, so they can maintain their prize winning Ultimate Shine. Plus, the lucky winner will have their car participate in a photoshoot.

There are four runner up prizes of $250 cash and product combo, PLUS we will also be giving away spot prizes every fortnight for entrants, so get out there this weekend, and get your car Ultimate Shine ready.

Finally for the voters there will be spot prizes awarded each week for our active voters! So get voting and keep voting!

How do I enter?

Go to www.meguiars.co.nz , click on the Ultimate Shine Logo, fill in the form with your details, write us a snippet of how you achieve your Ultimate Shine and upload a digital photo of your ride (you have to own the vehicle, so no sneakypics of yourneighbour’s car).

If your car has what it takes, the Meguiar’s team will e-mail you back to accept you into the competition.  All makes, models and levels of modifications will be accepted - it just needs to SHINE!

Your car will then be loaded onto the Meguiar’s website in all its shining glory for everyone to vote for you!

Voting

You can vote for multiple entries in the same day. However, you can only vote for each entry once. Anyone can vote for the various entries approved on the www.meguiars.co.nz website. To do so you need to register as a voter, providing your name and email address, upon registration you will receive an email to confirm your registration.

The winner will be decided through a combination of the most votes which will make up 50% off the final rating, while the other 50% is up to the judges (Meguiar’s, and a panel of the Editors from all your favourite car magazines).  

You better start calling everyone you’ve ever known, ask them to kindly register at www.meguiars.co.nz and get voting for you.

Entries will close on the 30^th November 2011, and your last day to get your votes in is 5.00pm, 14^th December 2011.  Winners will be notified by e-mail on the 19^th December 2010 (what an awesome Christmas present that would be).

If you are picked as the deserving winner, be prepared to say “cheese” because Meguiar’s will need a picture of you with your car. All photos will become property of the Smits Group. Vehicle\s submitted must be registered to the entrant. Multiple vehicle entries are accepted. Exclusions – No Smits Group or Meguiar’s New Zealand employees are eligible. Duplicates will be disqualified, any violations of the rules may result in a disqualification. All decisions are final and NO discussion will be entered into.
